At Detroit Golf Club, Michael Thorbjornsen erased a four-stroke deficit to 54-hole leader Davis Riley with a final-round 63 — the best round of his PGA Tour career — capped by a closing birdie to win the 2026 Rocket Classic at 18 under par (262). It was Thorbjornsen's first PGA Tour victory, coming two strokes ahead of Xander Schauffele, who briefly held the lead in the final round. Riley finished third at -15, one ahead of Rasmus Højgaard. The Stanford product and 2024 PGA Tour University No. 1 overall pick entered the week ranked 69th in the FedExCup standings and secured a playoff spot with the win.
